This Volvo is no joke.  At 3250lbs, it does ok.  This car tears up the street and track with the help of a small block chevy, 4l80e transmission and a ford 9" rear end.  We at the shop call it the space ship.  None of us has seen a volvo that looks anywhere near what this one looks like.  And we have never seen one that performs as well either.  You can usually find this car running at the road course and drag strip at reno/fernley raceway.  As if double duty is not enough this is still a street car with full interior and a nice sound system.  He drives this car to work and to car shows quite often.

When asked about the car, Jay says "It's a hybrid.  It burns gas and tires.".  Last track day he went through a brand new set of BFG 345/30/18 drag radials.

If you're driving your evo around town and catch this thing at a stop light think again.  It's not your average volvo.
